A delegation from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Media Think Tank Summit visited YTO Corporation (YTO).

On July 26, a delegation from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Media Think Tank Summit visited YTO Corporation (YTO). The delegation included Kuwaiti Ambassador to China Jassim Najem, Cambodian Secretary of State for Information Ross Tansang, and Tajik Presidential Academy of Administration Firdafus Jalil Odinazodda, First Vice President, along with experts from over 40 media and think tank organizations in over 10 countries, including Russia, Belarus, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Pakistan. The delegation experienced the unique charm of China’s intelligent agricultural machinery up close. Su Wensheng, Deputy Secretary of the YTO Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of YTO Group, welcomed the guests and introduced them to the process of China’s agricultural modernization and the development history of YTO.

The Dongfanghong tractor is a popular export product to countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative. Entering the YTO Dongfanghong Innovation Space, the impressive display of over 40 models from the Dongfanghong family dazzled the visitors, who flocked to the cabs for photos.

The Dongfanghong LF2204 cabless, unmanned tractor impressed Fatemeh Badwi Ramadan, a reporter for Egypt’s Al-Anhed newspaper. She listened attentively to the explanation and kept asking questions, such as, “How do you operate this massive machine without a cab?” and “Are there plans to export it to Egypt?” She replied, “In Egypt, tractors produced by YTO are very common. Today, I finally got to see their ‘homeland.'” YTO staff explained that tractors exported to Egypt can be customized based on local agricultural and agronomic characteristics and user needs. They are highly popular with users, enabling them to efficiently handle various crops in the fields and also meet users’ needs for projects and other work during the off-season.

Salahuddin Abdullah, advisor to the executive president of Al-Jazeera Media Group, admitted that his trip to Henan gave him a new understanding of Chinese agricultural technology. “From plowing to harvesting, modern agricultural machinery and equipment produced in Henan have enabled a high degree of mechanization in agricultural production, which is exactly what our country needs,” he said, adding that his home country of Sudan is a major agricultural country with abundant irrigable land and abundant water resources. “In the future, I look forward to seeing more equipment produced by China’s YTO Group operating across Africa,” he said.
