At nine o’clock in the morning, facing the gloomy weather in Aksu, Alimjiang had just finished leveling nearly 100 acres of cotton fields.
After that, he jumped out of the cab and came to the edge of the field to inspect. After confirming that the land was flat and even after turning, he skillfully started the Dongfanghong LX2004, turned the front of the car, and prepared to drive to the next farmland to be cultivated.
Alimjiang, 32, is a native of Xinjiang Uyghur and has been dealing with tractors for nearly ten years. In 2019, out of trust in the brand, he chose “Dongfanghong” again and bought a Dongfanghong LX2004. This tractor has been used for six years and has become a powerful helper in his work.
“When I bought a tractor for the first time, my friends told me that ‘Dongfanghong’ has a good reputation, a powerful engine, and high working efficiency.” When talking about the reason for choosing this vehicle, Alimjiang’s reason was simple and practical, “My first ‘Dongfanghong’ was really worry-free to use, so I continued to choose this brand later.”
Efficient operation and fast return on investment
As a famous cotton producing area in Xinjiang, spring plowing in Aksu is generally from April to early May every year. Alimjiang works in Fengshou No. 1 Factory, where the farmland is vast. He has to cultivate 3,000 acres of land every year, providing farmers with services such as ploughing, leveling, and ditching, charging 30 to 60 yuan per acre. Alimjiang did some calculations and found that his Dongfanghong LX2004 is particularly reliable. In particular, the engine is fuel-efficient, which can save a lot of money compared to other brands. “After deducting the fuel cost, maintenance cost and labor cost, it will be payable in about two or three years.”
Show strength in windy and sandy days
Aksu has a lot of wind and sand, which adds a lot of trouble to agricultural machinery work. Alimjiang patted the sand on the car and said with emotion: “Although the weather is bad, driving the Dongfanghong does not delay anything. These days, the wind is strong and there is a lot of sand. Fortunately, the engine of this car is very useful. It is not afraid of sand ingress and overheating, and it can always work efficiently.” He pointed to the land next to him while speaking – the plowed land is neat and tidy, and the depth is consistent. “It is because of the sufficient power that the plowed land is so good.”
Powerful to complete the heavy task
According to this year’s plan, Alimjiang has to complete more than 2,000 acres of work in the first half of the year. The time is tight and the task is heavy. But with many years of experience and the fact that the Dongfanghong LX2004 can withstand high-intensity operations, he is confident: “The more you work, the more you earn, and it doesn’t matter if you are tired. This car has been used for more than six years, and it is still as smooth to operate as a new one, and it is also comfortable to drive.”
In the past six years of spring plowing, the Dongfanghong engine has been both durable and versatile. Alimjiang said that even if the shaft is running continuously and working at high intensity, the power has never been reduced, and there has never been a problem of overheating or lack of power. Moreover, the engine is worry-free, has low maintenance costs, and has few problems. It basically does not need to be stopped for repairs, and the work efficiency is very high. Thanks to this reliability, he can complete the heavy work smoothly every year. At the end of the interview, Alimjiang said frankly: “Only good agricultural machinery can grow good crops. I hope that ‘Dongfanghong’ will continue to produce good products, and I will choose it in the future!”
